Your Initial Design Consultation
Upon initial contact with us by phone or in our showroom we will discuss your project needs and how Custom Deck Builders, LLC can best meet those needs. We will review design possibilities, materials and an initial budget for your project. There is no cost commitment for this initial consultation.
Once we have an understanding of your expectations we will schedule an in home consultation/site-visit. There is a $75 fee for this visit. However, this fee will be credited to the cost of the project once we enter into a contract for the work. For 20 years we have created beautiful projects that utilize the latest in high quality, low maintenance building materials and unique designs.
While prices vary by project, building a new deck or screened porch will require a significant investment. After viewing our project galleries and learning about how we build high quality decks, we hope you will put your trust with our company to meet your outdoor living needs.
In-Home Visit
We will meet with you at your home to evaluate the site and take the measurements we need to accurately estimate and bid the project based on the desired scope of work.
Design & Proposal
Back at our office, we will create an initial design that incorporates your needs and preferences in order to accurately prepare a fixed price proposal for your project.
Design & Budget Review
Upon completing our fixed price proposal and design we can meet at our showroom
to review the design and proposal as well as review all material selections for your
project. At this time we can also make any minor design changes.
Proposal Acceptance
Now that we have settled on a final design and scope of work, we will finalize and sign the proposal for the project, take an initial deposit and put you on our schedule. At this time we will start on the final drawings needed for the building permit and get the permit process started.
