For this project, we removed an exterior door, added a set of French doors (in a different location) and built the deck with wrap-around stairs. This was to give a more “open” feel to the room as well as let in some natural light and provide better access to the back yard. The decking used was a PVC deck product from Wolf Deck. The colors used were Amberwood and Rosewood from their Tropical Hardwood Collection. We also added a window in the bathroom to bring in some natural light. The window was an Anderson and the door was a Jeld-Wen. Inside we had to remove some drywall, frame the rough window and door openings (adding a header to each) and replace some (previously) damaged ceramic tile. We also replaced the drywall and trimmed out the door and window with new casing.
